Purchase & Lease Agreement

The investor purchase freehold agricultural land on ownership basis through registered sale deed. After mutation in his name, the same land is leased out to Kalinga Sandal Farm for Sandalwood Plantation.

Cultivation & Farm Management

Our team manages the entire process – plantation, care, maintenance and security – ensuring healthy growth of sandalwood trees throughout the cultivation period, with technical support from Royal Indian Sandalwood Pvt. Ltd.

Process Monitoring by Investors

As a member of the Kalinga Sandalwood FAMILY, the investor is offered 2 days stay every year at the resort being developed in the farm. The investor not only will get a chance to experience the farming process but also enjoys the stay at the serine resort in the sandal farm.

Harvest, Sale and Profit Sharing

At maturity, the sandalwood in harvested and sold through authorized channels, in consultation with Royal Indian Sandalwood Pvt. Ltd. and revenue is shared with the investor as per the agreed percentage.

Sandalwood cultivation requires long-term investment, technical expertise, security, and infrastructure. Many farmers prefer short-term crops for regular income and are unable to invest in long-gestation projects. We bring together land, expertise, and management to make sandalwood cultivation viable for investors and landowners.

Can I purchase a plot without sandalwood plantation for construction purposes?

No. The project is designed exclusively for sandalwood cultivation to ensure long-term agricultural and investment benefits.

Is insurance provided for this long-term crop?

Yes. Crop insurance is taken once the plantation attains marketable value.

When will the land be registered in my name?

The land will be registered in your name upon receipt of full payment, and the mutation will also be done in your name.

Can I choose the plot allocated to me?

Yes. Plot layouts and availability are displayed on our website. Allocation is done on a first-come, first-served basis to ensure transparency.

Can I sell the property before the end of the term?

Yes. Ownership can be transferred at any time. However, the new owner must adhere to the same cultivation agreement. All transfer-related costs are to be borne by the owner or buyer.
